As my username says, I finally purchased a ZR1@LAST 1990 Red/Red :dancing

I have driven in a few ZR1's and was very impressed to say the least. I knew someday I would get one, but it took me 50 years. They say (not sure who says) that life starts at 50 :occasion1

I am looking to meet other ZR1 owners in NC. Does anyone from NC or close to the Raleigh area get together?

This forum is great and I am glad to be here.

I wish everyone a Happy and Safe 4th of July!

Thanks for the welcome :handshak:

I see you are from S. FL  I just moved to NC prior to living in Broward and PBC's since 1970. I miss the Tower Shops and Turkey Rod Run.

I guess I am #5 on the poll then. Hope to hear from some folks in NC :hello:

Jeff,

Congrats!! You got Kurt's car and what an great car with most of what you would want to upgrade to. (you got the upgrades FREE)

If you are free @ the end of August there is a huge event in Carlisle PA (Corvettes of Carlisle) and you will see more ZR-1's than anywhere else in the country. (60 plus)

Jeff,

No news traveled my way, I saw the picture and knew the one he was selling. (put 2 + 2 together)

Congrats, you will not regret it!

Cheers

Jeff,

Congratulations on getting your ZR-1.

I live in Maryland, so I am not close to you. When I got my ZR-1 in 2007, I started looking around my area and figured that there were not many ZR-1's. But by going to car shows and cruise-ins and keeping track of every ZR-1 owner that I met, I have found 35 ZR-1 owners in the Baltimore/Washington DC area.

I hope that you will come to Corvettes at Carlisle (27-29 August, Carlisle, PA). I am sure you will meet some NC ZR-1 owners there.

How far are you from Maxton, NC? I am planning to go there and run my car on the one-mile straight course.

Actually, I am very happy to know what you wrote. Kurt has been very accommodating to me, which I appreciate greatly :-D

Thanks again!
