:hello:Please tell me about the FBI Z. Is it part of the
FBI Motorsports group or you all ZR-1 owners?
Are you a formal organization or just a social group of ZR-1 owners that love your toys? How many in your group? I read and enjoy your posts. It sounds like you do a lot of Drag racing, eating, etc
All your posts and topics really peaked my interest.
I am originally from Elgin and many other towns in Illinois. I still have family back there... Cary, Rock Island and Byron.

We are a loosely affiliated group of idiots, whose lack of awareness around our own limitations permits us to do the extraordinary:cheers: A common glandular problem allows us to do all the eating.
We might have inherited these issues from running our cars at Byron....its at the base of a nuke plant:eek:
I have lived in Galesburg, Kewanee, Moline, Bloomington, Jacksonvile, Springfield, Champaign, Hillsboro, Decatur, Schaumburg and finally Crystal Lake.

"Loosely affiliated"...Ain't that the truth! Getting the group organized for a simple event (as I've said before) is like "hearding cats!" No by-laws, no dues, no expectations or secret handshakes (tho what "secrets" you see in Pete or Marc's shops stays in Pete n Marc's shops:mrgreen:)...Just common geography, sprinkled with some super local talent and a passion for Zs and racing and pizza or BBQ n BS! No garage queens in the bunch, unless it's up on jacks - being modded (again) for - what else - even more performance!
If there is a theme, I guess it would be to share a passion for the BEAST, and should others be inspired to join the BROTHERHOOD, that would be grand.
Good carz, good food, good friendz = the best of timez!!:dancing

:iamwithst Yes, all ZR-1 owners... we're lucky to have Marc Haibeck in our back yard who joins us from time to time, not to mention Pete and Al who provide technical guidance. There are about 10-12 of us in this loosely knit group. I have to say it makes the addiction just that much more enjoyable (and expensive, at times)
