View Full Version : Arggg... Help!

I had throttle body top plate off refinishing the corroded area and while reinstalling the plate I dropped one of those dark bronze anodized torx head bolt into the engine bay. I hit the floor immediately and looked for it to drop. Of course, it didn't!
I checked in the engine bay with flash light but cannot see it. I drove the car back and forth hitting the brake to hopefully loosen it down but no luck.
Anyone got a spare? Or know where I can find one?

One moment of carelessness ruined my evening.:mad:

It more than likely fell into the V of the block right in front of the breather box.

I will loan you one from my ZR as long as I can get a replacement by Friday... going to have it in the NVCC Concours on Sunday. If interested come on by tomorrow and just have Jeff FedEx to me 2 day delivery...at least will get you back on the road on Tuesday

Thanks for the offer. Although missing a bolt, it is not leaking. It should be ok for a few days until I get one from JeffVette.

What is this NVCC Concurs on Sunday? Is it local? Maybe I will show up (not to compete but just for fun).:cheers:
