Bob, just my opinion, but I think you may have a little trouble selling the used wires for $400. Many sets have been sold between $100 and $150. Just a thought.

$400 for a new set is what I have seen.

You are entitled to ask anything you want as they are worth what someone is willing to pay.
Having said that, if you want to know the value down to the penny, PM xlr8nflorida. He follows the value of them like some people watch the ticker on the NYSE.

Well, I did have a few grand invested and was heavy into the plug wires.:mrgreen:

The market years and years ago used to be $300.00. It seems to have slowly crept up to $350-$400 price range. The last new set I saw go on ebay, was close to $500 but that was atypical.

Here is a used set on ebay 190306153782 for $150.

I've seen them used ranging anywhere from $80 (crappy) to $225 (nice set)

The problem with used is you don't know exactly what you are getting. I bought one set that was absolutely mint off a very low car, looked brand new for $110.00. I've also paid $175 and got some real dogs even though the seller said low mileage.

My new ones I paid $275-$340 years and years ago.

There have not been alot of wires on ebay in sometime.

I'd guess if you put used wires on ebay, they would go $175-$200 but my guess is $165-$175.00.

I picked up a very nice used set for 90.00 on the bay last year. They apearently were changed out at 6,500 miles...tested them and they are perfect and look brand new. I have watched a few sets myself and I agree, an average for a decient used set is about 150.00 but they are getting rare.
