hey members,

Been meaning to give an update on events and drag racing. Most of you know we do have Drag Racing (Beach Bend) Available Wednesday and Thursday for $30 ALL DAY. Please sign up asap on our front site in the registry store.

Wednesday night is our Pizza / Beer night @ the plaza.... From about 7pm to 11pm. This is a registry sponsored event and no $$$ needed.

Thursday night is an open time to either go to Jim Van Dorn's for a Cookout(4pm to ?) or group dinners with the guys. Jim has offered up his place (as he always does) for food / drinks / conversation. His address is off his website @ www.automastersofbg.com (http://www.automastersofbg.com)

Friday is the BBQ @ Wendell Strode's home and all the info is right off the National Corvette Museum's site. You will need to sign up for this....

Saturday there is a banquet dinner / auction @ the NCM. This is an event not to be missed with many VIP's such as Dave Mclellan and Jim Engle (hasn't been @ an event in MANY years!).

Don't miss speaking from Mark Haibeck and Gordon Killebrew!!! Two great assets to the C4 community....

I might have missed a few things, but please post here, or contact me directly for any questions.

Looking forward to my FIRST year there and I can't wait!

Cheers

David

PS I will give detailed info on each event @ the NCM (ie Autocross / Scavenger hunt) because many members have inquired what each event really "is".

Hey if Jim does the cookout at his place I'm in.

I'll drive the Red Beast up from Middle Tennessee so that JVD and I can both tell tall tales about the power its now making since he and his pirates did the topend P&P over this past winter!

Cookout is on per JVD. You bring it and he'll cook it!

He will have a keg on hand, plates, etc.

If there's a COSTCO near by we can go get the cryo'ed slabs of steak. I'm a member & I can bring one of my chief's knives & cut steaks.

Ya gotta think positive vibes
BG weather forecast next week
Wed 30% isolated thunder storms = 70% decent weather
Thu 40% scattered t-storms = 60% OK
Fri 10% = mostly sunny all day
Sat 0% = outstanding weather

It's gonna be OK

I'm doing the rain dance. but rest assured if we rain out we'll refund your $$ so please come on out.

My bet is that we'll have a shower or two but have plenty of time to get runs in.

c u there!
