I went to a local weekly cruise-in last night (Chik-Fil-A in Dulles) with a fellow Z owner and a friend of his. He's got a black '90. It was pretty fun, the place was packed. Everything from a possibly real Yenko Camaro to an R32 Skyline GTR. We were there long enough to see the cars and talk to a few friends, but not so long as to get sorta boring (I'm not big on the car show stuff).
It's fun to drive somewhere with another Z. They really look good on the road. We sorta met up with a white '92+ convertible on the way, and the difference in the rear is so obvious on the road.
On the way home, we took a little detour, and made a few runs. The first was from a roll. He's got headers and 4.10's, I have headers and top end porting. I was able to keep in front of him that time.
The next two were from a dig, which is kinda tough with no light or anything, but it was still fun. The first time he got going better/quicker than me, and the second time I got going better than him. Neither of us thought to bring a camera, though...
We were probably only out 2 hours at the most, but man oh man, it was loads of fun. The only downside is I think I cost him some money. I'm pretty sure I'll be over there soon helping him pull his plenum and injector housings, and sending them out for porting... ;)
