this is how it looks my Cam cover after 1 year Chroume plating!! :dontknow:
made in Czech .. :mrgreen:
Go Go for polshing or powder coating!

Powder coated surfaces require less upkeep than polished ones.
Did your mechanic ever get your car to start?
What was wrong?
Was it the fuse?

My chromed top end looks as good as it did the day it was done.........judging from the pics it appears the prep work prior to the plating process.

when first time job finished , it was Amazing!!
but after 8 weeks the crack start on surface,and some air buble start showing and in the end as you see in photo! :confused:

I agree with you!
but my idea is to Polish the Cam cover, then Clear Powder Coated!!
there are many hotroder doing this trick, the finishing finishing. ;)
i was thinking to buy used cam from some guy in USA , and poish them
there and send them for (Clear) powder coated .
BUT the problem , i need also to that to I.H , and Manifold. see , i am
in trouble. i do not want send my parts for long shippment, and leave car
without driving, i need to drive my car every time i go to Czech. :neutral:
