Well, I am still chasing a high idle issue, so I thought I would replace the dual PCV boot. When the car was idling and you moved the boot it hissed pretty bad. Although Kurt Whites price is not bad at $35+, mine is El Cheapo about $8 with a new PCV included.


The Napa PCV for the ZR-1 has a plastic elbow attached, I combined this with a T I got from O' Reilly's autoparts and here we are:

I also contacted Gates hoses to try to find a F tube that might work!

Dorman Part is 47072...Emissions Tee

Need to trim, but I used a scaple and no issues, cut at the breaks and it looks like it came that way.

I agree, nice process! :thumbsup:

The whole set up from Kurt is not cheap, but it works way better than the OEM stuff does after 20 yrs.

Great savings! Where do you get the Dorman part? mailorder? Auto store?

O'reillly, Murrays, Autozone all carry Dorman...its the "Help" parts in the red packages, the one with the generic stuff like uiniversal hood cable latches, coolant caps, door handles, etc...

Looks Good Lee and a good solution. I see CPT Cheapa$$ uses Stanley Made in the USA tools.
