So far I have avoided a ticket after about 600km. Not sure I will keep pushing my luck this summer.

Yep! Of all the things to get stopped for last year - missing front plate. I've got it on now, but Ahhhh, I hate it!

Yep! Of all the things to get stopped for last year - missing front plate. I've got it on now, but Ahhhh, I hate it!We actually used to have to run the front plate in Alberta too, was a while ago now...i think they took the law out in the early to mid-90's. Not sure why they ever did  but i'm glad as F**k they did i'll tell ya :). Not like like our plates are ugly or anything...ya right . Lots of U.S. states have four or five plate choices, some are not too bad, kinda cool really. Route 66 IL. is neat. Regardless no plate looks best on our cars, bar none, sorry guys :p

I never run my front and have never been stopped for it-- just luck I guess--

I went 110K miles in my 89 SC T-Bird b4 the local nabbed me.

I think most cops just look the other way when it comes to vettes and front plates in IL.

Can I live in here? I'll work in there free. All I want is permission to open the ZR1 door once awhile and breath in the new vette smell.

Met the owner. Nice gentleman says his driven corvettes for a long time. Would you believe the '09 has around 4000km already. Driven year round. Almost as many as my '95.

Look at how many choices we have in Florida.

We also do not need a front plate(thank goodness)
