Only thing is, seller says it's a 90 to 95 key.... I think there are 2 keys, right? 1990 and 1991 and 1995?

Correct the 90 key is different than the 91-95 key.

The emblem on it is definitely 1990. I don't recall the keys having teeth cut on them though? I guess I'll have to go look at mine again...

My power key on my '90 has teeth cut (both keys). Never tried on the door?? When I replaced the whole assembly with NOS the teeth were cut on it also.:dontknow:

it's been some time since i've seen my power key, cars been sleeping for months, but i remember it having 'teeth' cut into it also not like the ignition key but it wasn't flat either. however i only remember them being on one side. I'll check when i get home. Gordon Killabrew was the one who told me about the power key on the 90 being a blank door key

which probably meant you can use a blank door key and have it cut for the power key. all 3 of the 90 power keys I have are cut.

I'm pretty sure that all 90 power keys are cut the same from the factory and that a blank door key can be cut to be used as a power key. I don't think I remember seeing a "blank" power key.

I doubt a "blank key" would work but who knows!
'90 key info: The key's "knock out" is a code "91C9" and is on a D keyway. Any D blank door key cut to "91C9" will work. I use a D blank "padded" key for mine for everyday use!
'91+ key info: "73L0" and is cut on an H keyway.

I have a few power keys sitting around some have the 90 emblem some have the 91 emblem, Funny thing is the ones with a 90 emblem have the same cut as the ones with a 91 up emblem.
I need someone with a 91 so i can send a key to them and see if it fits into the power key lock then I can sell these keys as such.

I have a 91 unit on my shelf of spare parts, if you want me to check I'd be glad to.

The key will have a "keyway" ID on it! A '90 key will have a D on it and a '91+ key will have the H on it like I mentioned in my earlier post! I just looked at my keys for comparison and the cuts are "very similar"! You don't need to send anyone a key to confirm the "fit". I will run the key codes and post back with the "cut" comparison!!
JP!
I forgot for a moment what I do for a living! I can also do this from home! The keycuts for both style of "power keys" are "identical" by code!
The cuts from the "head" are 224343! Any key you have with a D on the key will do '90 only. Any key you have that has an H on it will do '91+ cars! I've never paid any attention to the keys previously!! The cylinders aren't "universal" keyways as some doors and glove boxes are! Until tonight I had never had both keys in my hands at the same time!!
