I don't know if I'd pay that much for the actual window sticker from my car. A hundred bucks is a bit steep. I would have to have alot of OT in the check to spring that much.
I suppose that if you do the NCRS thing the actual window sticker could be worth that much??? Do they take off points if you don't have the "original"? I wonder if they consider the sticker that came in the pizza box just a copy?

I have the WINDOW sticker and the pizza box copy of the sticker... the pic from the ebay item is a window sticker based on the top and botton strip PULL THIS STRIP TO EXPOSE ADHESIVE. The tear is from someone peeling the adhesive strip off of window of car. I looks the real deal but damn... $100. And yes I have been told NCRS wants to see full documentation so assume that means window sticker... I even have the orginal bill of sale and the PDI sheet filled out a the dealership.
Here is question relative NCRS... is this a point (or part thereof) deduct...on the hood is the dealership stock number (#6898 matches the PDI and bill of sale) and 'put in inventory' date (11/20)...now this was not from the factory yet is part of the provenance of vehicle...no diff or a point killer :icon_scra

personally i think its sad that anyone would charge the current owner for the window sticker. why couldnt they just send it to the current owner because its the right thing to do. to me the seller is a bottem feeder

The current owner of the car is entitled to the window sticker? Hmmm... not sure I agree with that. Not that I agree with $100... but...
One could get a copy of the original window sticker from the NCM , much cheaper !

I would like to believe that if any of us sold our Z's, we would pass on all the documentation that we had on our cars to the new owner as part of the deal? I had always thought that you pass on any documents to the next owner as it is a customary part of selling the car? JMHO.
I asked the original owner of my car if he had any documentation and he said he had it somewhere, he said "I'll ask my wife where the stuff is." They put it in the pizza box and shipped it with the car. I got lucky I guess?

i dont mean to offend anyone by my statement , everyone has a right to do things as they see best.i am a little sore on the subject being ,that when i bought the white car the previous owner kept one of the tops and has been trying to sell it along with the pizza box. i just think that when one sells a car all info and parts should at least be offered to the new owner.jmho

I fully agree with getting all the "add ons" when you buy the car. The C5 I bought was originally a two-top, but the dealer kept it for another car!! Didn't find out about it until later. When I bought my 90 Z the seller stated that everything he had was going with the car, but I guess it's something that's negotiable until money passes hands. Gotta ask up front nowadays.
