Based on the quite a few folks balking at the April 12 date (being Easter Sunday) I am working with the detailers etc to change the gathering to April 11...same program (detailing clinic, paint finishers on site and those :worship: :worship: ribs). I have NOT confirmed as of this time (March 17 4:35 Eastern time) but looks like so far this change can occur. Please stand by for next day or two...I am really trying to make this work.

Thanks Michael. Most people are saying saturday works better and I'm game for both.

I do have another Corvette show on Saturday, but I can bail on that if the group decides Saturday.

Spoke to detailer/paint finisher (the guy that did my ZR and call him the 'mad scientist'... here he is taking digital pics of the paint finish so as to determine which compounds and foam heads he will be using)..

Carter,
Being from the great state of Texas you know just how important a good pot of beans are to adding that special extra atmosphere to bunch of fellahs sitting around after working their asses off polishing their Vettes, swapping lies, pulling on some longnecks and working on a stack of BBQ ribs and links. In my view a good pot of beans are to a BBQ meal like frosting is to a cake, just meant to be.

Did anyone ever see Blazing Saddle's on TV ? They cut out the bean blowing part. Maybe that's not politically correct I figure. Seen more hot air than that come outta Washington in a split second.
