Cool to see someone else in the Denver area. I've been looking to meet up with other Z owners in the area, would be cool to get a bunch together!

If you have time next weekend there is a "exotics" get together in the highlands ranch area. We will be bringing the Z. Just look for the red 91 ZR-1. Here is the info if you have time to swing by:

I'm not in Denver, but a little further south in the Springs. I went to a Corvette gathering last year (CAC) and felt a little out of place, so I kind of lost interest. I wouldn't mind seeing some other ZR-1ers, tho.

Hey! We have done a few drives with a Corvette club around here too. They mostly have C5's and C6's, they really don't know too much about the ZR-1. When the weather gets a little better (and there is alittle less sand on the roads) we should get the Z's together.

The 11th works much better for me based on my travel schedule. My only challenge is that I'm in the process of moving, but I will plan on attending if at all possible.

Hey!

George here from Durango. Just bought my first 'vette. It being a '90 ZR1 was the icing on the cake. It's been sitting in a garage for 13 years. Now that I have it home I find that it needs some parts that are just missing, so the search quest begins.

I don't get to the Denver area very often, but I would sure like to be kept informed of any happenings. I may make a special trip to attend an event in the future!

Also, if anyone knows of any suppliers of parts ( other than those listed on the internet... already been to most of those), or someone who is parting out a car like mine, I would appreciate you passing on that info.

I love the CO winter with many days of sunshine and warmth (which surprised me), but I hate the CO spring which I have found to be cold, snow-filled and wet. :(

Anyway, we got lucky because it was dry on Saturday.

Holy Crap!! I dont know how I missed this thread. I'm in Canon City. This Saturday we have a 400+ car show and my Z will be in it. I was the only one of course last year, and only one of 4 C4's period. I'd like to meet some of you guys. Its a beautiful drive down here. Take Hwy 115 to Hwy 50 and go west 11 miles. Just after the third traffic light you'll see the Holy Cross Abbey on the right side of the highwy. Theres always a crap load of cars lined on the side of the road.

Vettes on the Rockies was last weekend. Its an annual event where 100's of Vettes get together for a weekend around the Breckenridge/Frisco area. There is an autox event, car show, and banquet on saturday night. I only go for the car show every year.

That was one of the largest ones they've ever had and they say it's one of the largest monthly cruise ins!

The car count was close to 2000.......wow!!!

Bummer we missed you. There were a ton of cars there! We only go to the August one every year and this one was absolutely amazing. We got there around 5 in the afternoon and were there until about 9. Cars just kept coming in.

A friend of mine said he has attended several of them, and he could not believe how many people showed up this year. He thought they might be giving away free beer.

Hello all.
I am a new ZR1 owner in Colorado. I purchased it in California. Its a 1991 Blk /Gray #31. My car just arrived last Wednesday. It took almost 2 weeks from purchase to arrival an it drove me nuts. Its safe in my garage now. Can't wait till spring. I did get a short drive this past weekend but there is to much grime on the roads to really enjoy.

I would like to meet some other ZR1 owners in the Denver area. Drop me an email and maybe find a decent weekend hookup.:thumbsup:
