Are you doing any more port work to the top end?
This closed deck is set up to run stock head gaskets right?
Man that looks Good Al. I think it's time for a 427. Sorry I have a short crank:redface:

What rod, piston and ring combo did you go with?

It looks like you made god use of the extra space around the cylinders...i know nothing about building an engine...but is the 441 using separate cylinder liners now or is it all one piece, I can tell it is a different color and that some of the original block was bored out. I guess it is also a stroker too, so will it turn similar peak RPM to a stock engine...more? Less? 415's seem to be somewhat common, but this is the only 441 I have heard of so far, maybe others are out there. I think I read about a 427 LT5 as well.

Love that billet crank, gleaming "down under". That is an awesome looking piece o' machinery you have there, Al. I can almost feel the ground shaking now! I'm really looking forward to seeing 'er run!
I swear...If they have that "all Corvette" run at US41 next fall, it would be fun to see the Zs pin some ears back. (Did a pretty good job of it last year but there was only 3 of us there!)
Is it spring yet???

That closed deck looks killer Al  Nice work !

Al,
I'm impressed! That is drop dead gorgous... :worship:
I find it interesting that like in the stock engine, siamising all the cylinders isn't causing heat related failures of the rings and cylinder walls. Of course there is no real higher mile track record of these up sized engines. Still, considering this type of work has been for a while now, it appears not to be a problem.

The motor runs great and i'm still putting miles on her.No leaks at all, however
I just finished building A breather box for it that's over 3 QTS with two pcv's
so the motor relieves itself of crankcase pressure.I'm setting up A dyno time
so I can finish tuning and get some numbers,i'll keep you boys posted.

AL.Did you consider using an electric vacuum pump instead? Would make more power...especially when the cubic inch numbers go up.

Ryan I'm considering installing A Mechanical vacuum pump since I removed
the AC compressor,it should fit.

AL.Do it if you can, you won't regret it. Good chance it will fit, based off a Moroso pump (I wouldn't use anything else personally), just make sure to size the pulley(s) correctly, they don'y like to be spun too fast, 6500 RPMish. I suggested the electric pump just for ease of mounting, no pulley's to deal with, can hide it pretty good, that sort of thing but all things being equal if your willing to do the initial work, Mechanical is what i would like to see on a semi-maximum effort combo.

Got my attention.
Plus what kind of vacuum can we get from electric pump.
I was going to try and fit a Moroso.
I see www.GZmotorsports.com (http://www.GZmotorsports.com) have a comlete bolt on kits for lsx motors.

Reading this it looks like I was asked a question & never answered, sorry bout' that :o...Not sure how that happened .
Can get an Electric Vac. pump from Engine Works, I can get the number if any of you need, (basically a GM smog pump) & you'll see 3"-4". Not a ton, but if you have a positive crankcase pressure situation, can make the world of difference.
I wouldn't recomend the GZ pump. Go Moroso if going mechanical.

So what is the status of the 441? Did I miss the results thread?
