I am going to start autocrossing the 90 Z, needs some suggestions on how to get started. Groups, events for hacks, cost?

Talk with people in surrounding car clubs. Most multiple car club cities have clubs with different tastes. Usually there is a club with racers in it.
Also look for local SCCA chapers in your area.

Great info, LGAFF. Thanks for posting. In Texas the Lone Star Corvette Club particpates in all types of racing, from drag racing to motor cross to raod racing, not to mention NCRS type stuff and almost any show.

If you want to try the road track. Putnam Park in indiana might not be too far for you and it's great for starting on. Only has one wall! I found out there's room for 3 360's after leaving turn 7 with no damage, just rotated the tires on the wheels 1/3 of a turn, wish there would of been a video of that.
http://www.1010thsmotorsports.com/page/page/5236308.htm Puts on a good safe as possible event I've seen. Only saw two others though.
There was 3 z's there once also counting mine, one from tennessee.
There's a new track in Kentucky that's suppose to be really good if you want to drive farther.
