I'm excited to say I'm finally going to ascend from just a plain ol' C4 owner, to join the ranks of you all :-D. As somewhat of an impulse, I will be buying a '91 ZR-1 #1147 from a seller on ebay. I really didn't expect to win it, being that my maximum bid was less than I thought would be needed, but, it worked out in my favor. A little bit of a gamble, but hopefully it will pay off.

The car is Red / Saddle, 66K miles, looks to be pretty clean overall.

I will probably go pick it up sometime next week, assuming I get there and nothing is obviously amiss. I can't wait! Just gotta sell my '94 now, which I'm a little upset about because it's so clean.

I'm sure there'll be some troubleshooting over the next few months, so I appreciate the help in advance!:hello:

Welcome to the "Brotherhood of the Beast". You will definitely enjoy the Z and get ready for the "perma-grin". You get that when you do your 1st WOT. Hope everything goes well when you pick up the KOTH.:handshak:

Welcome Welcome!

Saw your post on the CF too. Great purchase!!!!

Put a little love in that car and it will be well worth it.

You just purchased a "SuperCar" for the price of an Entry Level car.

With that last second bid looks like you snagged yourself a real fine red ZR-1 at a very nice price.

You will soon realize compared to the ZR-1 your 94 was just short 3 camshafts, 8 exhaust valves and 8 intake valves.

Hey there....im a new owner too....91 # 1124 wht /red . I think this is a great time to buy these cars, and hang on to them. In the future, they are going to be collectable. (in my opinion)

Just joined the register this evening.

Well then...welcome to you both :handshak:

Suggest you first start reading all the info on the ZR-1/LT5 that is contained in the 'hot buttons' General Info/Maintenance/Misc Info etc etc and then get the book Heart of the Beast which is a must read for joining the brotherhood :)

Oh..word of caution about joining this group... I did a little over a year ago... next day I get up and find this in my driveway>>

Oh, did anyone tell you that there is no cure for this affliction? However, on the plus side, these cars can cure a bad day at the office.:sign10:

Welcome gentleman. Let me speak, as a fairly new owner, about how AWESOME these guys are. I had the mod bug even before I became an owner and due to that I have only driven it a few times because its in the shop so it can go at hyperspeed. LOL But I could not have even considered for one second about doing anything if it was not for this group. ;)

Glad you bought it low so you have more money to spend on the mods. :)

Really find it hard to see how you would get her by stealing that car for 13k. Enjoy it before they take you to jail
