Anyone buy one of the $200 dollar water pumps from Corvette Central. Are they the right thing, did anyone install one. Would like to know.

I've not heard anything bad about them yet, but time will tell.

I received a water pump from Corvette Central on Monday, the pump looks very good quality wise, but i'm 99.9% certain it's a knock off.
There are no A/C delco stamps, but it does have the GM part # & some insignia from the manufacturer of "CW"
At the end of the day for $199.99 i'm very happy with the pump & in my mind its worth every penny!

Might be a take off. The one I saw had washer marks and numerous finish scratches; also came in an unmarked box. Thought maybe when GM hacked up the extra motors after 95 they stripped off a few parts to sell. Then CC comes along and buys the WP's up. Who knows really ??

I got mine,I was told it was 100% OEM G.M. If its not Ill send it back. From what I hear I can get these aftermarket all day long for $200,I only bought this now because I was told by CC that it was in fact a G.M. part.Does an OEM WP have G.M. stamped on it?

This is a WP, I got from my local parts guy 2 years ago. Straight out of the GM/AC Delco box.

I've had one like that in an ACDelco box on the shelf for 12 years - different date code on the casting but the same P/N.

I'm surprised the "hose kit guy" left the water pump behind! Foolish move but maybe his "hands were full"!!!
