Pro...winter allows me to do all those winter type projects without feeling bad for not driving the ZR if there was nice weather...but that has gotten stalled...thus CON>> winter be GONE!

In prior posts have already detailed the winter projects and all is complete EXCEPT two... thus this is where I have been for 3 weeks>>

I was told that the two rear wheels will be from the finisher this week finally and then the new tires on all fours will be installed. I soooo want this car to be 'on the ground' and to drive. I just hope all the work on the engine (new injectors etc) come to life flawlessly... Spring springs eternal and I am so ready

Looks great, and i feel you're winter pain.

Hope i can make it to Bowling Green this year to see

Yes... a Snap On mid rise (up to 42" lift height) sissor lift>>

Snap On tools are very pricey and this unit now sells for $4500... when I purchased (3 years ago) retail was $3200 BUT I purchased "used"..less than 12 months old used about dozen times. Owner of shop was motivated to sell so I walked away paying $1000 for an excellent almost new unit. Point is if you are not in a rush look for good+++ condition used units and can get for a deal or there are other companies out there making nice units at a more reasonable price

Winter? I've been driving mine to work every day this week. The heater works great! The roads are cleared of salt, that's about all I need. :)

I have some horrifically unsafe front wheels with original 1990 tires you could toss on there! :D Have you not driven the car since doing the injectors?

No Bob.. without wheels and tires seems driving would be a moot point

Ah, didn't know your car was wheelless when you did the injectors. Also you had later noted the car was leaking fuel while running. I just assumed you noticed it after a test drive or something.

Fired up engine when it was on the lift and bingo! fuel leak and has all beed corrected. I am getting really grumpy about waiting for those refinished alloys...those things better sing when I get them back :blahblah:
