Jeffvette,
Acouple of months ago you indicated you had a set of silicone PVC hoses (behind the motor). Are they still for sale?
Please send me an e-mail to byun@skiarch.com.
Thanks.

If it was a silicone PVC hose it probably came from White Racing Products. I don't think Jeff is making them. Pricey little dudes; but they last.

Yes they are pricey, but there is very little choice unless you want to make your own like over at the NetReg site, in the "How To" section.
I just installed my set from Kurt and I have to say that the fit is right on and the fit of the PCV's into the holder section is so tight that clamps are not really needed. The OEM stuff never sealed this well, or at least mine didn't.

I would just say this also concerning the OE PCV hoses. A while back I bought all the factory rubber that I could from a chevy dealer because my stuff was so loose. Ya know I was thinking vacuum leaks, a lot of little one.
The replacement OE stuff lasted about two yrs and then was just as loose fitting as the original 17 yr old stuff. Okay it was cheap enough & I bought duplicates, all except the PCV valve holder, that was NLA.
I just got tired of the stuff not working correctly so I spent the $160.00 at WhiteRacingProducts.com and got the good stuff.

Jeff is on a Skiing trip - trying to score some tail  Should be back tonight. I have Kurt's PCV kit on my car, it doesn't look like the original but it works well.

Only problem is that original rubber pieces along PCV system, I am sure, will have consistancy of brownie.

It's okay to cuddle naked with you female friends... right... just being friendly.
The rehab is going okay, slow process though.
Back on topic: If it doesn't have to look original then Kurts PCV kit is really the best choice out there. If you are looking for NCRS then you may have to get creative with the bottom piece. I once tried using a piece of aluminum tubing to fix/reinforce the disintigrating rubber. In the end I gave up and bought Kurts fix, mine was just too far gone to stay together. I do happen to have the upper piece in almost brand new condition if that is any help.

My OE lower PCV hose, the holder, is fine. No surface cracks or splits even at the openings. The top connectors, 1 OEM/BG and 1 OE replacement used 2 yrs, are in same condition as lower hose. I also have 1 NOS top connector still sealed in factory packaging.
The 90* el's @ the I/H's 1 pair NOS unopened, 1 pair OEM/BG have surface cracks, and one pair on the car. These NAPA has in stock or can get from the "Help" display.
To be truthful, I hadn't given any thought to unloading the stuff. I just stuck it all in my stash. It's a used piece of rubber that don't seal very well so it's a vacuum leak on my car because I drive mine.
If another BOB was doing the NCRS thing and had the need I'd offer any of the PCV parts for sale/trade just "to do the right thing" as other brothers have helped me out. I guess I'm not to swift on the selling aspect.:o

My current one was repaired w/ alum. tubing, a lot of sealant and some fancy relf adhering rubber tape.
Looks like I may have to turn to Kurt.

Kurt is currently on his way back to Poland for a family matter. Supposed to be back by the end of next week.
