I submitted Queenie (my 1988 ZR-1 prototype) to NCRS for the American Heritage Award at the NCRS Winter Regional this weekend. It has been accepted (they were excited about the car) which means a trip to the National NCRS event in California this July. Any of you west coasters want to see the car now is your chance.

Tyler,
Congrats your car is an amazing piece of history, although I am sure the car means more than simple monetary value to you, you must have felt good after seeing the prototypes going for 100-200K at Barret-Jackson.
Hopefully I will get to see it in person some day.

Well after taking x out of the stock market 5 years ago and telling the kids I was blowing thier inheritance, they look at the market today, the prices on the 89 cars and forgave me. I drove the car from the judging field to where we were staying to put it in the trailer, when I parked the car my wife and daughter stood at the door and clapped/cheered. They had never seen the car run. LOL

I saw your car back in probably the early 2000's. It was across from Celebration community at a hotel and all the cars were parked inside.

That is great news. You deserve the honor for all the work you put into Queenie.
You have got to see this car. It amazes you to look at it and read the story of what it took to get it back together and running. I was lucky that Tyler brought it to Carlisle in 07 and I had a chance to see it and listen to Tyler's account of the restoration.
Congrats Tyler, this is waaaay cool for sure!
