I have just about everything lined up to start the P&P phase. I've got what I hope to be the necessary runner plan worked out and the tools and cutters/sanders, etc. Just a couple minor items to locate and the chips can start flying. I wanna take a look at Pete's IH while he has it apart - mebby today, if he's not bizzy. Anywayz, the Zs fm northern IL should make a good showing this year at the various tracks - gonna be fun getting together to compare notes and burn some burgers too!
Wish me luck (I'll need it!)
Is it spring yet???

Good luck Paul!
I'm envious of your winter schedule. You are doing the fun stuff! I'm still working on things that are in the preventive maintenance section.
Can't wait to hear how all your stuff works out.

What in the heck is Pete up to now, thought he just had it apart a month or two ago?

He always has a few heads around that he may be doing for others.
He told me his latest was coil overs and it is one of the best mod's he has done to date in his opinion.

I visited Pete last week when I picked up the UD pulleys from him. Motor was out because of a wiped cam lobe. He's about ready to put it back in the car. He was showing me the ZDDP stuff for putting back zinc in the oil.
He suspects that may have contributed to the cam lobe issue. Imagine if he ran that 129mph with a cam that was going bad! What'll run with good cams?
