Hi Guys,
Below is a link to the Vette Fest here in Boise for this year. Friday is a great day with Autocross in the AM and Drag racing in the PM. Hope some of you can put it on yur schedule this year. I know it's the week before the PNW Gathering, but maybe a week long vacation (or more and hitting both events can give you a great fix.

Need to bring back the "Project Session" idea.
Maybe a plenum pull or radiator stack cleaning or ????
Start at 5pm and stop when Sam is ready with the ribs.

I'm in. I need a check valve replaced if a project is needed. It might be nice for some to see a plenum pull and the proper way to check a secondary system (like me).

Jeff, what do you think?

We can do it, need to see where we can fit it in. I'll have a couple of motors torn down as well.

Do you have a new check valve available? I can bring one if not. I also have plenum gaskets I'll bring. I just replaced the damn thing and it was fine for awhile. A vacumm test of the system would be good after install.

We're looking at what, an hour and a half max for this? I'll get there a little early maybe and we can have it torn down for when people arrive. Or, we could do it right before dinner and put it together after.

I'm sure there are a few that have never seen under the plenum.

Joe, the show and shine is not far away. I think we are planning on letting those who want to go to the show and shine go in the AM, and then when judging is done, go off on our trip. I think I have the route mapped out. Just need to finalize a few last minute things.

Well I'm back home from the Gathering and man was it hot there in Portland this weekend. I think it was still about 90d at 8:00 last night.

Was nice to see everyone again. Sam did an awesome job on the BBQ as always, what a great host. Jeff took us on a ride that was absolutely fantastic, about 150 miles worth. You couldn't ask for a better road for our cars. The car show was a good one. Dren took a couple awards with his 63 and there was a couple Z's entered.

Thanks for a great time once again Jeff. :worship:

Ted, you missed a phenomenal PNWZR1 gathering. Jeff hosted a very well organized 4 day event yet again. Friday night's barbeque was highlighted with Sam Flint's amazing smoked ribs. Saturday started with a corvette show then had a great drive through twisty mountain roads up to Mount St Helens.
Sunday was autocrossing at PIR. Ted, you were really missed on Sunday night at the Acropolis for the steak dinner. We met 2 young ladies named Tiffany and Anastasia and they had bad memories. They kept forgetting to wear any clothing.
Monday was track day at PIR and was amazing.
Much thanks to Jeff and Sam Flint for their warm hospitality and for a gathering I will never forget.:dancing
