Following is a post on CF from a guy in Italy who originally ask if the
comments he heard about problems with ZR-1 ~45000 miles
were true or false. I thought you all would find this interesting...
..."Thank's for all the answers...i'm very happy to listen that my lt5 is longer durable!!! This notice is born accidentally during a discussion for an lt5 sales. A person said that at the technical meeting ncrs they have explain that the motors lt5 are delicate and that to 45000 miles they have serious problems.
I have read the records of lt5 and i'm very happy for that!!!
So, now, after your answer i'm very happy to have a zr1 in my garage with only 18000miles!!
I don't know how many Zr1 there are in Italy, i only know that are few.
Bye, Max"
I checked ZR-1netregistry to see how many ZR-1s were listed with
"100,000 miles on original motor or after a rebuild" Only about 30 were listed and the last one posted was in early 2008.
I think this is grossly understated. If you have a ZR-1 with 100K miles on the original motor or on a rebuilt one how about taking a couple minutes and adding your car to our 100,000 Mile Club list...if any of you can tell us how to add a name to this list?

Thanks for helping.
This list, when updated, should be an impressive testimonial of how great our ZR-1's LT5 motors really are vs those other supposedly bullet proof motors.
