One reason of my interest is considering a CORSA exhaust :jawdrop:

Huh. I assume they'll stay in Berea? I've been up there and got a bit of a tour while they adjusted the system on my Aurora. Neat place and nice people. They used to mainly just have GM systems but have branched out quite a bit. I don't know if they are as popular with the 'stang and HEMI crowd though as I don't own any, anyone know?

If you want to hear a CORSA system Michael, plenty of us in the area have them, just hit us up. I thought you were gonna keep it stock looking though!

Oh how I am pondering this.. really want the OEM (MY90) look BUT my performance background SCREAMS about the restrictive nature of the OEM exhaust... Phil does not help matters..love his set up  Having a CORSA set up on my C6 is so sweet and keeps harkening to me for the
ZR-1. We will see

Michael, I love my Corsa. I have heard nothing better and the exhaust restriction is minimal. If you are coming to the Get Together on the 17th you can listen/drive my car.

I'm hooking up my Corsa tomorrow. It took awhile to polish it to a chrome like finish. Hope it sounds as good as it looks. I'll let you what I think. I'm taking off a B&B which I lked but wanted to go with a slightly better performing exhaust(from what I've been told)

You shoulda grabbed my old setup, sounds like it might have been just the thing. Sounded awesome around town, looked just like stock, and you probably don't take many long trips in the Z to worry about drone.

I did the Corsa install today  Sounds and feels good. It was a little of a PITA to get it lined up. Can anybody post up a couple of pics of theirs? I'm not sure mine is sitting correct. Maybe I'm just use to the way the B&B looked. Hey Jeff, expect a package from me soon.

Sold it to a fellow Z brother.

Thanks Jim & Phil for the pics. If possible can one of you give the measurment from the top of the tips to the bottom of the bumper? I'll try to get some pics up this weekend.
Next winter project-
1. Powdercoat the barrels of my 3 peice wheels (Black)
2. Header & cat install

I have Kenesis 18" I powder coated the center hubs last year a silver metalic and had Carter hook me up with a set of his killer center caps. Had those pc'd the same color. I'm going a step further this year and doing the barrels black with a small red pinstripe around the outside perimmeter. I'm adding in the red pinstripe to pick up the red pc'd cals and the red on the side ZR1 logo of the car. You all know how it is, once you start there is no end in sight.

I have mine at 5/8".
Passenger side lined up real easy.
Driver side took a lot more time and effort.

Does no exhaust come out of the other tip? If only the inner tubes are letting exhaust out that is just kinda dumb.

When I finally do my exhaust I want it to have a sleeper look...my ideal setup would have the factory square tips, but be a header catback combo behind the tips.

Anyone done something like this?

i have sitting in my box car a desert developement exhaust that came with kelli medellis car that i bought . it is 3 in. with no crossover and super turbo mufflers with dual outlets that could easily pass for the stk system . it looks like they took great care to make it look stk . from what i hear it is louder than heck . the key would be finding a turbo type muffler that has duel outlets hook it up with the dyno max xpipe muffler/resonator and you might have something that makes good power .

I am exactly at the same point but more for maintaining the OEM look in the rear... best I can come up with is using the OEM mufflers and replacing the mid pipe/resonator with an aftermarket unit such as a CORSA piece...of course they do not sell that piece alone and thus $1000 or so for a complete CORSA exhaust to just get the mid pipe :dontknow:

I beleive our cars are sleepers to begin with, most people don't even know what a ZR1 is (even some other corvette owners) Wouldn't matter what type of exhaust you had coming out the azz.

Maybe someone might want to split the cost of a system with you. You take the pipes and the other guy takes the cans.

Good Luck on whatever you guys decide. Keep us updated

Also, here are my Corsa equipped cars:

http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/982/dsc00372iu8.jpg

The 'rora was set up by Corsa. I had trouble getting the tips aligned just right, and there was an issue with how it connected to the cat. The 'vette was set up by a localish exhaust guy, the same guy who did my previous custom setup that retained the stock square tips.

I'm sure any of us would be glad to take closer pictures if there's something in particular you wanted to see about the fitment.
