Hello Robin and welcome to the forum. :handshak:

Try these easy steps;

Start a free account at one of the hosting sites below;

http://photobucket.com/

http://www.villagephotos.com/

http://www.putfile.com

Once you set up a free account & follow the upload instructions on their site your pictures will have a URL address such as

http://www.filehigh.com/serve/13386/247097.jpg

Then all you do is copy that url (typically with a cut and paste) and put it in your post. Others can then click on it and will be able to see the photos.
What would be even better and is very simple, is to make the photos be right there in your post like you see in other members posts. To do that the last step is to put the url address (represented here with **) in between the following;

******************

Then your photo/s will automatically be there when people go into your post.

If you run into any trouble or have any questions just PM me and we will get you squared away.

JIM

Notice how we've reversed the intake as the power drives to the rear but wasn't enough space with the firewall.

Buyer beware when dealing with that seller.

Why is that? I have not purchased from him, but I remember when he was selling headers he told me to call Mike Ebert for the info on them

He was also selling a 368 short block that was "bolt heads on and ready to go" needless to say it was not stored properly and the liners and pistons had rust all over them. I will let the purchaser tell the story.

The motor is stock but always looking for cheaper power, car weighs around 990kg wet.
Trans is a strengthened Porsche G50 5 speed, have to use this due to the transaxle requirement.
Speed wise it's geared to a max of 170mph not sure of acceleration but figure in the right conditions (dry & warm track) it'll do 0-60 in high 3's low 4's.
It's set up for track work though, with additional coolers and spoilers set for max downforce.

V6 number plate is because the car used to have a V6 Cosworth twin turbo but prefer the ZR 1 block!

Hey guys, Robm3 asked me about power upgrades for the LT5 and I told him he came to the right website but then i realized he is in the UK. I remember there being a 415CID ZR-1 owner over there but i cant remember who he was. Anyone remember? That would be a great person for Robm3 to talk to about what upgrade parts are available over there.

Yep He needs to hook up with Gixer - ZR-1Cliff and the gang.

Here is where they all hang out >> http://www.corvettechat.co.uk/

It is part of "Piston Heads"

Here is the reg page >>> http://www.pistonheads.com/members/new.asp?lid=2027554&p=WCGKSK9S

~Ah, I think I got an email from this chap a while back (Gixer) but lost it when I changed Laptops. Thanks for the info... (I'm on Pistonheads pretty reguarly as well). There's an Ultima forum that's pretty good.

Also found out there's another Ultima being constructed with an LT5 in it (that makes 2 in the UK). The owner came over to take a look at mine on the weekend and told me that the chap who built his engine worked on the original design for Lotus in the UK, the motor is tuned to put out around 480hp. I'll get the owner to get me some photos and I'll post em up.

Hi Robm3. Welcome to the forum. I've only just got around to reading this thread, not been on any forums much lately as I was up to my neck in decorating in December:( ....all done now though:)

I did receive your photos you sent me. I also hosted them and started a thread on here http://www.zr1netregistry.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7282

Just noticed your profile says you are in Sutton. I'm only up the road from Maidstone so not very far at all. Cliff is in Bassingstoke

Ah yes, didn't finishing typing and so should read Sutton Coldfield, which is about 120 miles away (that's British miles so heavy traffic all the way inbetween for the American's reading this)....

That's my old LT5 in the GTR. Swapped the motor out with an LS2 so the new motor owner took a video and posted it up.

Cool to see it running again. With hindsight I probably wouldn't have done all the work swapping the LS2 in (it's cost me around US$16K). Hey ho...

Very Nice Rob ! Me likey ! Is the car quicker with the LS2 as compaired to the LT5 ? It must be much lighter and handel better.
