This explosion view should help you get an idea of how it all goes together.

go here for lots more ls-9 photos >>> http://corvetteactioncenter.com/specs/c6/2009/zr1/ruthless_pursuit1.html
from the above article by Hib H. ( a fellow ZR-1 owner) is this cut away photo that gives you the close up you were interested in.

Here is the air flow diagram

Make sure you read the nice write up Hib did on the LS-9 in the above link.

The LS9 is very advanced engineering but is no LT5 when it comes to making hp the NA way and doing it with style and class the LT5 is still the KOTH.

CUZ THE LT-5 DOES IT THE HARD WAY ~~~ NA BABY

And yes you can SC an LT-5

There are no silver ZR-1s, maybe silver ZR1s, but why are we discussing a blower here?
Did a C6 sneak in by mistake?

Let me more specific: Bowling Green did not produce any silver ZR-1s. Repaints do not count.

What's the story on that supercharged LT5 (who built it ect...)? That looks like a very nice fit.

One of the members here built it and had it at the ZR-1 event at BG last year.

I did not attend so no details more from me but others may chime in.

Yep that is it Polo1 thnx ===

Randy owns the ZR-1 and Ron did the job I think is the case.

At 5 psi on a stock block it was close to 600 hp again I think I read.

Randy did the design work.

No Dyno numbers have been released. When at BG it was not even in it's finished stage.

I ask some of folk here to help me to send his Z to Knight , i post his great work in supercharging many cars. i spoke with the Man, and he wait some Zr-1 to be deliver to him, and i sais i will pay $300 to Z folk who will send his car To Knight. i was sure he will do the kit for 100%.
But no one were interest to help.:dontknow:
