Where is a good place to find a clutch, will be used on a stock Z?
Is it any harder to pull the trans from a Z than any other C4?
Anybody know of a good place to have the injector's flow tested?
Where is a good place to get a starter?
How hard is it to adjust the rear hatch?
Does the Z take a different top than a standard C4?

The car has arrived to my house in Ga, found out at one point the car was in a rear-end collision. It's car number 1109, if I understood my dad right on the phone. Has a rebuilt title. frame is straight, but the hatch is out of adjustment. after finding out the car was totaled at one point the previous owner came down on price some, ended at $10.5k, which i think is still a good deal. Pictures will come in January when i get back home.

The OEM clutch was supplied by Valeo, auto parts stores like AutoZone, etc can get them. CarolinaClutch.com if you desire something other than what is stock. Make double sure that the hydraulic system is 100%....see zfdoc.com for info.

The trans R&R is the same as any C4 w/a zf6spd....you might consider Beam Plates from zfdoc.com, as they improve the stability of the mounting bolts...see zfdoc.com for the info....also all things zf6. Bill is the man when it comes to the zf6.

The roof panels are all the same, so any used one will do from 90 thru 96, just to be safe.

On the starter, maybe e-bay or get a rebuilt. GM has discontinued OE starters. Post up in the parts section as some one might have one they want to sell. On e-bay there was a rebuilder that was selling a kit; or any auto parts store should be able to get one, i would think.

On the injectors & flow testing....I have no idea. The early OEM injectors, 90 thru 92, were not resistant to alcohol in modern gas so the coils eventually quit. FICinjectors.com has a good replacement, as does Accel and RCEngineering.com, but the RC's are over 1200 for all 16.

On the hatch glass adjustment....I have no clue, sorry.:o

Good luck with your new toy!

Tom
