Are you getting a code? If you put a code tool on the ALDL, does it flash 12 only with ignition on?

i am trying to find out why i have a low rpm miss in the 90 .plug wires cked out ok 600ohms we went from wire plug in terminal to wire plug in terminal that was 5000ohms .so that i think cked out ok i even bought a new set of injectors and still had the low rpm miss so i was thinking of trying the ecm out of the 92 if possible to see if it might be the ecm .i know i would have to put the prom out of the 90 in it . we also did a cold compression test and the results were 165-75on 7 cylinders and 180 on cylinder 8 which is the problem child . one thing that concerned me when i switched out inj housings and plenum s was that there was oil in the secondary runner of cylinder 8 . i am just guessing ,but think i may have a cracked ring ,but thats just a guess . other than the computor do i ck the wiring to the injectors or what i am kinda at a loss? do i have a mechanical problem or an electrical problem ? anyone have any suggestions .treid corey but so far nothing back from him . i am way open to suggestions .HELP

when i said wire plugin termianal to wire plug in terminal i was talking about the coil. is that the correct way to test the coils?

Yes.
The "Box" itself will work fine.
However, you will probably need to put in your '90 PROM to make everything work correctly.


I had a similar low idle miss after replacing my injectors a couple of years ago.
Replacing the ECM fixed the issue.
