I really am missing the shows and talking to all the wonderful people. This hobbie has been a big part of my life and I have been missing all the great things it has been to me. Like working on the Z and getting to meet new people in the process. It really is the people that make it great. I guess I have been feeling kind of down. I hope to see everyone soon and get back to this wonderful hobbie real soon. I even miss working and liked my job.Well hope to see and talk to you all real soon.

you don't have to miss the people at all. we welcome your particpation and hope to see you 100% soon and at the many gatherings

keep in touch. off to SGC in the a.m. I'll keep you posted on the event with pics and a write up in the mag.

the long drive in the ZR-1 is my "decompression time"

tunes cranked, and the LSV 390 barking out the 500+ at the wheels

as lance would say, life is good. the brotherhood of the beast is a special bunch, a unique group, that gravitate to a unique ride, the legend,

the true KOTH, the ZR-1. it put the corvette "back on the map" and it's been getting better ever since. the car got the performance standards up to a new standard, and set the bar for the future vettes to aspire to.

the engineering and quality built into the car remains unparalleled even today. the LT5 is a very nice engine, as soon as they build a better one, I'll being buying a new vette. I like the new ZR1, but it's just not the same "mystique" as the american ferrari, and as many remember, the ZR-1 was a quantum leap in performance above the base vette, and has withstood the test of time quite well.

Dave,

focus on getting better now, your health is the most important thing. A strong will and taking charge of it will work miracles. My brother-in-law went through a rehab (after the doctors told him he will never lift more than 25lb) and proved them all wrong. Recently he was in an industrial accident and I'm afraid he will have to do it all over again (this time his leg and hand). I'm sure he will do a complete recovery again.

Keep with it, the human body can work miracles. Just to make sure, we'll keep you in our prayes, too. Come spring, I expect you to accompany me on some outings (I'm practically in your neighborhood).

Hey, thank you for your post. Yes I must stay positive and work hard. Doctors can only do so much and many times they don't even know. Thanks again and that would be really cool to get together.:handshak::dancing

The Zs are still here waiting for you, and we're still here too. The important thing is you getting yourself well...and you too shall ride again!! You have my prayers. Keep your chin up and looking forward. Regarding our troubles: 'This too shall pass!'
