Samco Hose ??

I'd like to get a set of Samco hoses, but I really dont like the Samco writing all over the hoses. Has anyone ever tried to get the lettering off with any solvent?

Its is not going to happen. I do however hear what you have to say as im running a set of SAMCOs on my daily ride as well. While installing I also had to ask myself could they be any prouder of their hoses? As their Samco logos are everywhere. The reality is the LT5 is such a small percentage of thier total operating business that unless a group buy of a say 500 units was offered in a custom run its just not going to happen.

I'm greatful they make the hoses for the LT5 but I have to agree, they do seem a bit happy with themselves :thumbsup: given the number of times they put their name on their product.

i have a set of blue samco hoses still New In the Bag. they were never put on by the previous owner and he gave them to me when i bought the car but i would really rather have black or red. anybody willing to buy them in black or red and make a swap?

I understand the reason for the writing and have ZERO problems with it.... I just like a clean engine compartment, not an advertisement for Mobile 1, Samco, Gates, Goodyear or anything other that 32 valves, 4 cams and Corvette...:)

Let me ask, has anyone cut a piece off that has the white writing on it? If you would be so kind to PLEASE take some lacquer thinnner on a rag to it and PLEASE let me know if it breaks the paint or whatever is down.

Any idea what the lead time is for a set of the black Samco hoses from the registry page? I just checked and it showed none in stock.
