I recently got a copy of THE HEARY OF THE BEAST and would like to offer the book for somebody else to read,when your finished with the book you put it in a box and send it to the next person in line and so on.The recipient only pays to ship the book to the next person.Each person that reads the book signs the inside cover and includes a picture of yourself with your car and on the back of the picture,some info,car number and so on.Eventually I want the book back no matter how tattered it gets so it will be the responsibility of the last person in possession of the book to keep track of it.The book will not be loaned out,communication through the Forum is the only way to get the book.There is a list of rules in the package-READ THEM-Once you receive the book send me an email and once the book is ready to got to the next person on the list send me another email and I will put the two people in touch for the shipping info.If the shipping box starts to get too worn out the Post Office has boxes and shipping labels.One person already had the book for a week,never bothered to let me know what was going on and then decided to let somebody else have the book and never once got in touch with me.If this is your mindset,dont even bother me but for everybody else,enjoy the book and lets see where this goes.You must email your phone number,sit on this for 2 months like one guy did and Im giving you a call,you have 14 days max to read this and send it out.Heres the list as of right now.Ill remove a name as it moves along.......ZZZZZR1-8upZR1-ZR1Vette-MikeG-bdw18_123-zrmynatt-xfireZ51-jeasen.DONT FORGET THE PICTURE.

How about the receiver gets the book, signs it adds a pic of themselves with their car, and writes an interesting Z story on the back. Then passes it on.....story being on the back of the photo. Then it should go to Bowling Green

Can both lists be organized together so the book can make it's way across the country in an orderly manner. Maybe you can start by sending it to Hadi and then he can send it to the person on the east coast that is on the list. Just a thought. We could then use media mail and costs would be kept to a minimum for everyone. As well as problems with the book being shipped from one end of the country to the other.

I personaly wouldn't want to be responsible for this book going to the middle east (no that I will be).

Just some thoughts.

In my view our forum members should be given priority since this is the exclusive and true forum of our beloved ZR-1.
Aside from that, it depends on what you want to accomplish. If your primary goal is to have people read the KOTH bible, then you should send it to those who have not read it first.
If on the other hand you want it to be more of a guest-book then you could first send it to those who have already read it. Presumably their turn around time will be much faster than someone who will need to read it for the first time.

Ohh, Jeffe , for more than 18 years i order many parts from US to kuwait via US postal Service, and I NEVER lost any shipemnet! :thumbsup:
in same time i sent parts for repair and many things to USA, with no issue!
USPS is the best in shipping around the world!

Initially the idea was so people that didnt have the book could read it and pass it on,the other ideas kind of snow balled from there but If you want to sign the book thats fine too.I would hope this thing would be further along than it is but when some guys sit on the thing for 2 months,it takes forever to run down the list.

In our "pay-it-forward" book, I had Dave McClellan sign the book. Interestingly (but perhaps not surprisingly), he wanted to sign HIS page in the book. I had him sign it - To the Corvette Forum and ZR-1 Net ZR-1 Owners, Dave McClellan 3-29-09.
