On Saturday, 13 September 2008 there will be a Ride for Pride to remember the fallen heros of September 11th, 2001.
The Ride is conducted by the F-Body Hideout, which is a group of Trans Am and Camero guys. The Ride is open to Corvettes. (Also to anyone who is proud of America) There is no fee to participate. Donations are accepted for a Memorial Fund.
I participated last year and it was an honor and a thrill.

The event starts in Alexandria, VA near the Washington Beltway, I-495. At 2:00 PM the group heads out to make a full circle of I-495, then goes north on I-395 to the Pentagon Parking Lot. It is about a 75 mile trip.
The Pentagon Security opens the parking lot for us to assemble and remember the heros of 9/11.
I will be participating again this year, and I encourage all ZR-1 owners to join us.
I will post some pictures from last year later.
