California Lead Wheel Weights

They say that when the weights fall off the rims
they get run over and pulverized. The lead gets
into the water system and turns people into
neurologic mutants. Know anyone from Calif?
I wonder what we can use for weights instead,

As a Kalifornicate native all I can say is that it wasn't that way when I was a kid growing up here.

It all started in SF, Bezerkley & LA in the late 60's and has steadily moved outward.

It's really not all that bad in most rural places, but that's pretty much the same everywhere.

Having traveled extensively across the continent, it's my sincere opinion that California is MUCH better than:
"The Big Apple" and all of the Boroughs.
All of New Jersey.
Detroit.
Most of St. Louis.
Florida.
The "Big Easy".
Phoenix.

Shall I go on?
