Hey all-
I had to share this with you guys!
I finally had the opportunity to open it up. WOW!!! That thing flies!! It has 3.90 gears, forced air induction, Borla exhaust & long tube headers - I'm not sure what else the car has on it, but I can certainly tell you it IS NOT stock. I was really surprised when I put the hammer down!
Somebody is going to be happy when they win this ZR-1 with less than 20k miles on it - SUNDAY, August 28th @ 3pm! Don't miss it...
Here a description & a picture of the car: Click here! (http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/schedule/corvette/giveaway.asp)
If you would like to register for the ZR-1 Reunion - feel free doing so

Thanks for the info Lance. It looks like a real nice car. It would look even nicer parked next to my black one. ;) Hope to meet you this August. Good luck with all the events this summer. Take care. Tommy B.

That is great Lance but all ZR-1's run that fast. :-D
What a great give away car! This will be a very special year for ZR-1's. You don't want to miss out on Carlisle this year.
Make sure all you ZR-1 owners park at the ZR-1 Net Registry tent.
Thanks!

Hi everyone. I won the giveaway at Carlisle on Sunday. I have a lot to learn about the ZR-1. All I knew about them before Sunday was that they existed. The first time I drove one was Sunday, but after the hour drive home, I was in love with it. It certianly runs rings around my little stock 87 convertable.

Glad to have you as a fellow ZR-1 owner. I would say you got yours at a good price.

Thanks for the welcome, this is a great site, I've learned a lot already just by reading some of the topics and your responses. Definately like the Corvette Babes.

Congrats Rich and Donna!! :handshak:
I had the pleasure of meeting both of them in Carlisle after they won the car and they brought it over to the ZR-1 Net Registry tent. We awarded them with a free 1 year membership in the ZR-1 Net Registry.
You could see both of them were still in cloud 9.
Speaking of Carlisle we had over 75 ZR-1's show up this year.
Lance thank you for all your hard work! Carlisle was bigger then ever. I don't know what Lance is going to do in a few more years as this event continues to grow each year. Which is a good problem to have. :-D
Thanks!
