Basically I stalk people until finally they say......:blahblah: if I give you the wheels for free, will you leave me the F@#$ alone. But I always seem to get stuck with the shipping charges, but I'm working on that, hopefully the next set I get I can actually make them pay me.

Actually I helped someone sell a car, retired mechanic that still repairs Ferrari's, lambos....you name it. He actually traded an old original Shelby Cobra for his current house.....still owns a Detamso Mangusta(the old one), V8 Austin Great guy knows everybody. What's the difference in the generations. I have a friend that has a 91 B2K that needs a set of the Dymags for his car. Any available?

Callaway only used the first generation of Dymags. Though the Callaway ones had "Callaway" stamped on the spoke instead of "Corvette". That wording means a huge difference in price.

Don, I did buy the undercoating, so I think we are even.

The Word is Dymags are on the way...my cost w/shipping $290.00. I am told GEN Is are mint, and Gen IIs are in need of a close lookover on two of the wheels, so they may be spares. So that gives me a full set of GEN Is, two GEN I spares, and we will have to see on the GEN IIs.

Well, the bad news is its an assortment of Corvette Dymags;

3 17X9.5 Gen Is with no corvette stamp, etc...just like the ones on the Morrison corvette.

1 17X9.5 White Gen I with the corvette stamp on it

1 17X11 white Gen I with Corvette Stamp

4 Gen IIs, all 17X9.5 one with the orginal Dymag stickers still on them(3 white with Chevy emblem, and one black)

1 17X11 Dymag with a different offset and "Perkins" stamped on the front!

All are in pretty good shape no big gouges, some are drilled for cooling caps, but I am going to guess I will make a few $ on these....Good news is without the matching 17X11s I will be selling all of these off, maybe will bring them down to funfest for the corvette challenge crowd!

Dymag 17X11; Never seen this one before it says Perkins on it, but it is without a doubt a Dymag.

They are all in pretty good shape, the paint is heavily chipped, but no chips or chunks missing from magnesium, one has slight bend but rolls straight(white Gen I), and another has a crack in the barrel (black GEN II) but could be fixed(looks like something hard hit it)

Edges are not rough, they have tape on them

The perkins one looks a little like the 16" Dymags on '87 Callaways. Dymag made wheels for more than just 'vettes, it's possible it's for some completely different application.

I weighed the GEN Is they are 17.8lbs for the fronts, and the one 17X11 I have for the rear is 20lbs.

Here is the odd part, I weighed the GEN IIs currently have on my Z, and they were the same a stock A-Molds. 21lbs on the front 22lbs on the back.

I just weighed one of these GENIIs and they weigh 18.4 pounds, vs the 21 on my current set.

i am not sure what I am doing will probably sell the wheels, just need to figure our best way to sell them without getting stuck with a stray.

I do not imagine you can run a 315 on 17x9.5 wheel.

If anyone knows of someone who needs a17X11 Gen I or wants to sell a GEN I of that size let me know
