I am not sure what happened to your detailed post, but my general observation that this is the wrong time to sell unless you really need the money. Our cars will certainly go up in value in years to come, but right now you will be lucky to get what you paid for it. Then again, part of the collectors market is going crazy. I just watched a RM auction and a Hemi Cuda vert went for 2 million :jawdrop:

So keep your chin up because better days are ahead.

I had 46 views and no replies so figured it wasn't what people were interested in. I just erased everything.

I know I won't get what I paid for it. Hoping for around $16k in stock form. I already figure I might have to wait awhile. I have a local guy interested so I haven't put it on the For Sale area yet. Soon though I hope.

Don't let multiple views with no responses get you down. First, some of those views might be guests who cannot post. Others can be bot hits. In my case I looked real quick and intended to post later when I had more time.

As to the mod question, you rarely get the value of mods back out. When a newbie starts his hunt for a KOTH and asks for advice, most people tell them to buy a modded ZR-1 if they are not looking for a show or collector car. The reason is that many people wind up doing at least the bolt ons, and cannot get the money back out that they put in. This is true of major mods as well, at least in the short run and this market(specialty ZR-1's excluded).

So if your question was sell it as is, or do mods and sell it, I'd say sell it stock and take the items you have and sell them independently. The exception would be if a potential buyer requested you mod it prior to him taking possession. In that case he should be willing to pay you for your time and expense.

Hope that helps.

I thought maybe you were going to charge for your opinions?

Just posted the car in the For Sale section of the Forum. I think pricing is ballpark for the car.
Thanks Z Factor
