Normally my ABS activate at the beging of ride (and flash indicator lamp "ABS active") but sometimes it not happened and indicator lamp flash during the ride (for example before 1 miles). I checked all sensors and everything is ok (they read properly the speed). It is dangerous when it activated during normal breaking. I don't know what can I do with this problem ? Now, I switch off ABS module and I drive without ABS. Maybe somebody can help me ?

If u have any loss of traction under braking the abs will activate..this is normal..if it happens while cruising and not actually braking then it is not good and should be checked into!!! :jawdrop: I do ? how u shut off the abs do u not mean "ride control" (ARS i think they call it) which is the traction control for snow and rain that I always turn off when I use my zr-1 first switch i hit b4 i turn the key on!!LOLOL

In my '91 there is no traction control (ASR) and my ABS active witouth loss of traction. It happened also during the ride without braking, it's very strange.

I advise you make a post in the ZR-1 section of corvette mechanic and we will see what the guys over there think about your ABS problem. I am the moderator there and will get ZR-1 Pete and the other mechanics to comment on your problem...In fact just post under C4 tech. ?'s cause this is not a LT5 specific problem but a gereral C4 problem. I bet C4C5 specialist and others have some ideas. Be sure to post a good long description of the problem and when and how it occurs! Here is the link, you will have to register for access to the site.
