I wonder what happened to all the tooling, and other things used to produce the LT-5, has it been all thrown away or kept somewhere at Mercruiser?

Love how the guy slaps on a template and lets loose with BBQ paint to do the lettering, and here I am using fine grade brush, and take an hour, he's done in 30 seconds.

Yea, is it possible that GM came and took that stuff? Did GM force MM to destroy it? Man what a shame if all that equip was just tossed in the recycle bin.

Thanks for posting the link.

May be an "international" internet issue.
Else do you have a firewall that is interfering?

Does anyone know if there is a way to confirm what the VIN's were on the cars they used in this clip? I'm asking because there is a quasar blue car on here and there weren't too many of these.

The original owner believed that my car was used for marketing by GM before he bought it. It was the color combo and stock set up I was looking for so I didn't really put any faith into this story. Seeing the 91 quasar blue car in the clip has sparked my curiosity.

Anyway, thought I'd ask the experts...

Thanks,

Jason

Jason, have you tried the NCM? Just a long shot, but maybe they might have been able to preserved the 'historical' stuff like those promo things that GM did with the Z's.......just a thought.

There is a guy who posts in the C4 section over at CF, name is Adam Boca...I may have the spelling of his last name wrong. Anyway he works at the NCM. Maybe worth looking him up over at CF & hit him up with your Q....can't hurt.:o
