My god man finishing painting your Garage. Looks like your painting around all your tools and toys on the wall. It reminds me of a fat woman who no longers cares dress sizes and makes her own by just sewing around the edges. On another note clean wheels

are you going to attach the spacers to the wheels:thumbsup: or leave them floating? you've come to far now to not do it properly, IMO. looks great BTW.

U don't know half the story, I was out on a business trip for a week.....my mother came over to watch my daughter, she is a busy body and decided that I needed to paint the garage. However first she decided to redo all the drywall seams, nails, etc......didn't cover anything, and was sanding compound with dust f'n everwhere.....in my tools,(at least she covered the car)
I was like ...thank you, but WTF are you doing....
After the wheels are done, will paint the walls, floors, wtc......Cylon, sounds like you want to volunteer to help.

http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a136/FLYTYM/IMG_0023-1.jpgI got a really nice set of hub centric spacers made buy a guy in L.A. H.C. to car and H.C. to the wheel.WVZR1 hooked me up with this guy.Ive also got 2 sets of spacers that I had made Im not using, hub centric to the car only. One set is 9MM and other is 12MM.The picture is of the 16MM spacers Ive got on the car.

When I did my spacers I used the 14mm difference of the ZR-1 spec wheel and the GS spec wheel and there appeared to be substantial clearance tire sidewall to quarter wheelhouse with my ZR-1 spec wheels mounted so I added 2mm to each wheel spacer. I was tempted to try 18mm spacers, I believe they would have been fine.
The spacer is "hub centric" and a better fit to the bearing flange than an OE wheel and the wheel stud bores are "snug". The spacer flange is a duplication of bearing flange.
I'd compare the "back spacing" of the GM ZR-1 wheel to the "back spacing" of your wheels to calculate the spacer thickness. Assume "nothing"!

When you do the floor, here's an alternative to U-Coat. A freind used this and is quite happy with it.

$170 shipped.I had to take them to work and open up the stud holes.I could have gottin these on the hub without doing this but at some point they would have to come off for whatever reason.

You will need to replace the wheel studs. You need to grind a flat in the stud flange to get it in the hub without taking the hub off the car.http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a136/FLYTYM/IMG_0013-2.jpghttp://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a136/FLYTYM/IMG_0015.jpg

Bryan,
Lets be honest, the only reason you even looked at the thread is the T*ts reference in the title.:D It must have thrown you off, and you thought it was the babes section. Sorry for the confusion.

What kind of rims are those? Were they specially made?
I love those rims... They're like the '94-'95 rims only italicized... Maybe in a couple of years when I get my next Z, I'll have to save up for a set of those babies!
On another note, LGAFF, I'm really sorry I couldn't get the info about my car to you. My insurance company REALLY sucked.... Needless to say, now my wife's Vette is with another company.
