I lowered the price to $16K FIRM. 45K miles. Salvage Title but put together properly with all new GM parts by a true ZR1Nut! Mine's for sale. Make me a decent offer. I have to sell it. It's currently the car at the top of the for sale list. Please don't ask me details of why I am selling. I have to...that's all I can say. :dontknow: Thanks for looking!

Vandevinter(spelling) ported them and is known for nice work unless you want a "raw" set to play with on a bridgeport...lol.with all due respect i'm sure the port work is fine, it's just i port for a living & i couldn't bring myself to buy something done by someone else, except maybe Carl Foltz or Slawko, it's like an auto body guy sending out his car to be painted, you know[-X . when i put engines on the dyno & they make power or they don't it falls to my feet, i revel in that rersponsibility. don't want to steal this tread more than i already have, sorry Uly.

Uly, Good luck on the sale, I hope everything works out for you.. too bad you were not putting the stock exhaust back on, I might have been able to scrape up for the headers.
Again good luck

What price do you need?

What price do you need? I have lowered the price to $17,500 but it will not include the extra wheels and tires as previously mentioned. The car is very solid and drives great...I have driven it as it should be...all it does is ask for more! I really hate to part with her.

I'm lowering it one last time to $16K Firm. I can't see going any lower than that. If I can't get that for it...I will part it out and we'll all say goodbye to another ZR-1. Just the mods alone cost me about $8-9K!

How about this for you fellers with some real $$$. I have my ZR-1 and a 67 Firebird 400/TH400 Convertible fully restored and in superb condition (PHS Documented and I have an original engine to drop in). All of it for $40K...but you have to hold it for me until I have the funds to repay. Anyone?
Details on the Firebird. Built the 3rd week of March 1967 (2nd month of Firebird production). Originally a California car and restored in 1993 to near perfect condition. Tyrol Blue exterior with a Deluxe Parchment interior. All parts for the car were purchased from Year One...unless they didn't have something. Basically a numbers matching restoration...including engine, transmission and rearend. I suspect it would easily bring $30K if the economy were better. CLICK THE PIC http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g158/guinnessdood/th_IMG_1005.jpg (http://s55.photobucket.com/albums/g158/guinnessdood/?action=view¤t=79ff962b.pbw)
So what I am saying here is the ZR-1 for $15K and the Firebird for $25K...for the $40K total. Fellas I am in a VERY BAD WAY...and I need the money...but I know that I will be able to repay and buy the cars back in the not too distant future.
Here's some new pics of the ZR-1.

Nice looking cars
I will most likely be going to a car show next Friday and will put the word out that you are selling either or both as a package deal. List as many details such as mileage, options, repairs, etc., and I will bring the info to the show. You never know who might be interested.

Are you advertising this elsewhere? It's just all of us already have a ZR-1. That Firebird has me drooling though!

Firebird:
Owned for 25 years. Third Owner. Restored in 1993. Car has ~135K miles. Only driven about 1000 miles since 1993. Options...400 Engine, TurboHydromatic 400 trans, Deluxe Parchment Interior, Power Top, Rear Mounted Antenna, Remote Sideview Mirror (currently has incorrect mirror), Hood Mounted Tach (not originally purchased on this car, but I installed an original 67 Tach), Rally I wheels (not originally an option on this car, I installed them). The Rally I's were available for the 1st half of 1967 on Firebirds. Production began in Feb 1967 on Camaros and Firebirds...this car was built in March 1967...so it is period correct. The rearend was originally a 2.56:1 non-posi 10 bolt unit. Now in this original housing is a posi 4.11:1 unit. Original gears are available as well as a set of 3.36 gears. I installed a 2nd factory traction bar like the 4-speed cars had...the TH400 cars only had one on the right side.
I have it advertised on a CF F-body, First Gen Firebird Forum and locally at KSL.com classifieds...do you guys know where else I should advertise it?
