What causes the digitial display to flash the letters SYS where it normally shows MPG? I noticed this morning it would flash " SYS " then go back to showing my MPG. It did this my entire drive.

any and all help is much appreciated.

*UPDATE*, did a quick search and found someone with the same problem. I replaced my battery last night, i'm guessing the sys light will go out on its own .

Probably a blown fuse in a body circuit somewhere. Pop the cover on the RH side of the dashboard and check them. If all are OK, get a code reader and a service manual for the next step ...

Sounds to me like your positive battery cable is not tight. I had the same problem from a loose cable. Removing and reconnecting the cable (tightly) at the battery will probably solve this one.

This happens to me every time the battery gets low on its charge...
