If these are the SW headers, do you know if they clear the steering gear as Jeffvette was having issue with that?
Is there a problem with the O2 bungs being on the side rather than the top?

Hadi,

Go read the thread by Jeffvette. In one of his installations he encountered a fit problem and he posted pics.

Guys,

I'm not suggesting there's something wrong with SW headers. I'm simply pointing out that in a recent installation, a very experienced installer, Jeffvette, had a fitment issue. And that you should be aware of that if you encounter a similar issue. That's all.

I know exactly what youre talking about. I saw Jeffs post as well. I only got them today, so I dont know if there will be any issues. The only way to know is when I try to get them on I guess. Jeff sent his back or I would compare measurements on the phone to check it out. Wish me luck!! :pray

32v,

I saw them at BG also. Tempted to get their Xpipe. I was surprised with my Watson headers that the exhaust note was as quiet as stock. You're probably going to want to check the tune once you get them on. I found that timing needed to be adjusted because of knock. Not sure whether its false knock or not but ECM was retarding timing.

I said the same thing over in the other forum and another member got his panties in a wad. Surprised he has not chimed in here yet to render another opinion [-X

Sweet....time to hit bandimere soon!:dancing You won't need any tuning work up here for just the headers/exhaust...it'll run perfect with the factory type tune at 5280'.

Ouch! You should have gotten in on the group buy over on CF a few months ago. Much better price.

You know, SW wouldn't quote any prices on an open forum, only through PM or email. And, they asked everyone to not qoute prices over the forum.

So....... I'll PM you! :D

WOW, and if prices for ZR-1 parts are going up,
maybe the price for an ENTIRE ZR-1 AUTOMOBILE
will go up!
