About a week ago i found out that my Resonator was busted ..cracked around on both ends. I replace with a Magnaflow x-pipe and WOW!! what a sound. It is deeper tone and just a tad louder. The drone is not bad, it didn't bother me a bit. I also notice a little power increase.... but thought i'd share with everyone.

I was thinking the Corsa's had a life time warrenty? So at least you could have a new resonator on hand(if you wanted to go back).

Should be able to get Corsa to replace it.

Id think they would sound wicked without the resonator though.

Yes Corsa will replace it. I figure i'd go with the x-pipe instead. This is the second Corsa set up that i put on the car. The first corsa that i had cracked the same place. Mr. browning replaced it with a new set up...two years later.... about two weeks ago the it fail again ...and in the same place. It's funny because my car does not vibrate or ride roungh to make the weld comes totally loose. I don't drive much as i used to. I don't know perhaps my the hangers are to tight or some sort. My exhaust guys told me that stailess tends to come apart easy, he reweld many system on other cars..as he stated.

If anyone knows someone at Corsa - They might ask about a X-pipe set up - Benefits, Sound / Tone, Vibration characteristics, drone etc. And why they have not gone Mfg'd an X-pipe for the ZR-1?? I would think that an X-pipe would scavage better then the traditional Cross over Balance pipe - which traditional reduces the drone and overloud tone.
