Im going to look at a 92 Zr1 this weekend and i was wondering if parts for a zr1/lt5 are available through any regular autoparts store or chevy dealer, any input would be greatly apreciated.

also wondering what the car should be worth, its a 92 black on black 78kmi., silver 5 spoke Zr1 style wheels, very clean condition except for stone chips in the paint other than that the body is in perfect shape.
Thanks
Luke

Hello Luke, and welcome to the forum.
I can tell you that most parts are available for a ZR-1 through the dealer and or auto parts stores because a ZR-1 is after all a Corvette. For example, filters, general parts, etc. can be found at just about any auto parts store. The specific parts that make the ZR-1 different are available from either the dealer, or a company like White Racing Products. If you have trouble finding something, our community will always help to find the part you may need. After all, if there were no parts available, we would not be driving our cars around.
Hope to see you as a fellow KOTH owner soon.

hey luke, keeping the zr1 healthy isn't too big a deal. some stuff is getting hard to get but with the net and other zr1 supporters it's really pretty ez. over 6900 of these beasties were built so it's really NOT a rare car.
at you your 92, I would offer in the 20-22k range. if they want much more than that, keep looking. the prices on the 90-92 cars is quite good right now and still headed down (but stable).
it's alot of car for the money!! 78k miles really isn't much. the lt5 will do double that and more before you have to worry much.
if the car has been taken care of, it will last 200k miles.
