Only if you think flying T38's, T-33's & F-102 is not risking your life for your country. Have doubts? Google USAF training crashes.

Whoever has the (R) after their name. Its all about basic principles......and the ones with the (D) after their names have none.

Hmmmm.... changing slam topics.

AWOL: Much more serious offense than UA. A charge of AWOL under the UCMJ would have required documentation and the resultant military ajudication of the charge. Do you have any?

Nothing personal here, I just don't like to see anyone's character assasinated without basis. This charge was widely publicized and scrutinized but never substantiated to my knowledge.

Back on topic. I'm voting for the former naval officer who was a combat pilot and POW, is now a gentleman and true statesman, and always has been a United States of America patriot.

I'm voting for Obama. I admire McCain and his war record much as I admired Kerry's. However, we are 40+ years beyond that point. Time to turn the page.

Kerry is not and never was in the same league with McCain when it comes to serving with honor, both in and out of uniform.

I guess you are right, but the math doesn't lie, we are 40+ years beyond "that point," being the Vietnam war. I was involved in that piece of history. I know I'm putting on a few years but sure as hell not ready to turn the page!:sign10:

Best to ya....

Hmm I dont remember McCain launching his medals in protest like Kerry either Apples to Oranges in my HO. I agree 40 years is a long time but never forget the service of or Vets. I think it will come down to a McCain Obama ticket. Lets see
