Took the B@B resonator off and put in two straight pipes. Had some 3inch pipe so didn't actually cost anything but a lot of work. Also with headers.
All I got to say is Wow, think I've lost some hearing after a two hour drive, resonance didn't seem that bad at the time but it must of caught up with me. Above 2 grand it's not bad though. Just can't cruise.
Guess I'll try the X pipe now but sounds like there's complants out there on that setup also so might be wasting my time again. The resonator chocks down so much can't bring myself to put it back on though.

try a Xpipe with a pair of Magnaflow Bullet mufflers..
removing the Resonator and replacing with straight pipes or a Xpipe will be louder.. since there is less to muffle the sound

I'll try the xpipe and does the Magnaflow bullet's have a comparable sound outside the car to the B@B's?
Kinda like the B's sound, actually sounds really good now with resonator removed and not much louder on the outside.

Girlfriend verified it was pretty brutal on just a 10 mile trip.

You I just realized i should expand my previous comments.. run the Xpipe, sfter the X pipe ( before the bends) run a pair of Magnaflow bullets.. then run the B&B Mufflers.. it gives a non neck down solution and the Bullets muffle the sound like the resonator did

Just looked the bullets up at jegs and that would of looked kind of strange in the back, I'm likin the sounds of this setup, thanks for straightening me out!

I have gone back and forth between the x-pipe and resonator (haven't done the pipes) and the x-pipe is brutal on noise. I'll take the x-pipe every time though for the power addition. I don't drive mine cars as a daily driver but for pleasure.

I didn't actually find the Magnaflow but ended up with Dynomax bullets and since there was no x-pipe laying around deferred that and put in a H pipe instead to equalize sides, still might try xpipe later but it sounds pretty good now and the drone is a lot better, maybe a little louder than the B@B resonator was and with no choking down. Thanks for the bullet suggestion.:dancing
Maybe I can get some hearing back now.

After getting a good dyno run like it is now probably put the resonator back in and compare since it is a little quieter with it.
