Hi fellas,

Some of you guys kept posting about this forum and I finally made it here from the "other (CF) forum". I see a lot of the same names here. Maybe I can meet some new friends here too.

Welcome to the Brotherhood of the Beast.

The quality of this forum is FAR SUPERIOR to any other Online Forum.

One thing you'll notice is that we ALL own or have owned ZR1's.
Heck, we don't kick out members who sell their Z's (for whatever reason).
Once a Brother, ALWAYS a Brother.

There is only one "Mod" here, and that would be "Z-Factor".
He's about the coolest guy around.
Let's just say that the trigger on his "Lock" button is stuck from lack of use.
I can't remember the last thread that got locked.
You can't say that about "That Other Forum".:censored:

Welcome aboard, post up a pic of that 'Turq Bad Boy.

Welcome to your new home for friendship and ZR-1 help. Here's a welcome aboard present...a picture of your car until you get the real one posted=D>

I'm on the left end. Looks like I've got some turq buddies over here. Some folks at site "other large ZR-1 site" tend to bash the turquoise, something about it being "less manly" if I remembler correctly.

..... Some folks at site "other large ZR-1 site" ...
Well that ZR-1 section over at CF is getting smaller and smaller as the true Brothers come home to the Registry.

My guess is that CF wants to kill it off so that there isn't any forum search problems when the C6 ZR1 section begins to debate the pro & cons of upgraded floor mats.

Welcome.

Remember the age olde saying -- A picture is worth a thousand words???

This photo is exactly what the "Brotherhood of the Beast" is all about!!!

It would be nice to think that someday the New ZR1 would have such a cult following ---but somehow me thinks that the pushrod SC ZR1 will never be as well loved quite like the LT-5 is!!!

The test of time will tell it all someday but if I were to lay odds ---well I would put my $$$ on the LT-5!!!

There is just something mystical and magic about the BEAST that stirs the blood of the soul within --- the symphony of the LT-5 is the key!!! Plus the fact that it is still the ultimate sleeper corvette IMO. No way the new ZR1 will ever be a "SLEEPER".

That was a very precise lesson there ZRWON & Dyno --Kudos to you both for the effort to make it.

We are going to MAKE A HYPER LINK OF THIS POST TO THIS this Sticky

"PUT FILE IS THE HOST SERVICE I USE FOR THE VETTE BABES POSTS...IT IS A FREE SERVICE!!"
>>> http://zr1.net/forum/showthread.php?t=875

Naturally I am using Photo Bucket now as the thread details migrate to PB as the service to use over the years.

So this will be a great tutorial to go along with that all.

Dyno you could list this in your master INDEX as

How to STORE -RETRIEVE & COPY/PASTE PHOTOS ON THE FORUM -- as an "OFF TOPIC" subject.

You would be surprised how many times this question is asked.

Except for the funky "naked -NUDE" filter on Photo Bucket overall the service is the best one out there IMHO.

I got you covered in the INDEX under the TOPIC LINKS http://www.zr1.net/forum/showthread.php?t=11619

Matter of fact....I brought this topic back up from the archives and embelished it a bit just for that purpose.......

What I am looking for in the INDEX are POSTS that use pictures and even notes in the pictures as tutorials on Z diagnostics, modifications, and maintenance

Matter of fact....for those INDEXED POSTS with pictures....I have backed up all those pictures on a hard drive and photobucket just in case those that post the original pictures somehow mess up their own photobucket albums after they post the original pictures

I made that a RED caution note in the INDEX

The best part of the INDEX as compared to a normal SEARCH......is that the INDEX will take you directly to specific POSTS within threads.

There is one other "trick" which I apply occasionally
I will take a thread and make a post that includes all the key details (including pictures) of that thread into a single post. That post I will INDEX so one does not have to review the whole thread

Welcome to the turqs buddy...don't let anyone give you trouble about the turq...most comments you get are "beautiful car". It may be a little girly but it hauls just as much A$$...I can personally vouch for that. looking good while your doing it is just a bonus. I've spent a lot of time looking into the depth of that paint and color...it's really kind of awesome.

Rick,

You are right, most people say "cool color". I love the turquoise, never thought it was "girly" but definitely has the color vibe of the late eighties/early nineties, which is why I like it being a child of the eighties. Also, my car was color sanded at some point so it is really slick which is a bonus. I noticed your car has tan interior, I've never seen that combo in person, I would think that looks really cool.
