That is too damn funny... I saw it this morning too. The thread was very polite and respectful of the forum owners and defended their reasons for doing it. And now the thread is gone... wtf... don't they realize that deleting stupid threads about a banned person gives the whole banning thing a second wind?

After I got PERMA-Banned for complaining about Jeff getting PERMA-Banned I signed up a new account using my work computer. I had to use a work computer because they track IP addresses.
I posted a want ad with my correct email address for a ZF6 and they tracked me down and banned me again.

I was going to ask but you beat me to it.Well ya got to figure,the ZR-1 crowd is small but loyal group to begin with.What if nobody showed up elsewhere as in everybody log off?Im not going to get into a PI$$ING contest with anybody but I do feel Moderators at times do get a bit of a GOD complex.

Jeffvette told me when they were in the process of Axing Mr Mojo as a forum Mod (He’s no longer a mod) they were 100% considering axing the entire ZR-1 section. Talk about considering cutting off your nose to spite your face. Damn.....:jawdrop:

Why would they shut down the ZR-1 section? They need the server space? If they folded all the C4 stuff into one section, wouldn't that take up just as much server space as having all the sub headings that they have now?? I guess I just don't get it!:o

I've met MoJo & he's a nice guy....really. I know that the antics of the NorthEast Events section crowd ( mostly the NE wolfpack peeps ) drove him nuts as a mod & proly put him in ill humor for days on end.

Why is anyone still posting ZR-1 issues over there anyway? This is our forum and we should support it....it's gonna be to our advantage that we make this place a sucess...JMHO

Im there for two reasons still. One is C4 parts availability and I have bought and sold a lot over there. 2nd, New and old ZR-1 owners still pop up over there and I try to pull them over to here for more info as well.

I also try to help up new owners that ask questions. Some folks are jerks over there in thier responses

I never go to CF anymore. In fact, I forgot my log-in password over there and I don't intend to go look for it. If you need anything for your ZR-1, you can find it right here. :cool:

I don't know why some people are SO quick to blast you over there. I got into car forums like this from my Chevy Cobalt daily driver. Even with a much younger contingent and a LOT more people, there didn't seem to be nearly as many holier-than-though jerks who blast you for every question/opinion.

That's why I love this forum... There are so many guys that are willing to help you out. I really felt good when you guys came out for me when I wrecked my Z. Long live the Registry! :worship:

I use the CF Southeast section to keep track of events, but the ZR-1 section is dying. I'm seeing alot of trollers coming in and out of it who have no idea what the King is.

I feel sorry for new owners looking for information and being given "use search" as the answer from some A-Hole. [-X

In the future when I see an honest question being asked in the CF ZR-1 section I will post the link to the Registry as the answer. :worship:

The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with our female party guests (Corvette Forum) - we did.
But you can't hold a whole ZR1 fraternity responsible for the behavior of a few, sick twisted individuals.
For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole fraternity system?
And if the whole fraternity system is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general?

Yea me too....the gen & tech are great for the non-Z issues that ya run up against...specially as this is my first C4. I'm waaay far behind the curve on the regular issues.

I also need the Events section over there....it's where all the runs are organized & posted......all work & no play makes for a very unhappy ZR-1 and owner!:sign10: :mrgreen:
