It should be required reading for any ZR-1 owner! I really gained a new appreciation for what all was done to hatch "The Beast". It is truly a facinating read.

Read it, enjoy it and learn from it. That was truly a fascinating read for me, especially learning all the hoops and ladders the Dave McLellan and the rest of the Corvette team had to go through to bring the ZR-1 to fruition.
Oh, if only they kept the '91 front end as a ZR-1 only option....

As a relative newbie I found this is a required read.. and re-read and re-read. Actually I found myself :sign10: at some of the first person recollections of the meetings between Lotus and GM/Corvette...owning both a Lotus and a Vette and having been to both manufacturing facilities it is just a total corporate hoot thinking these two companies were working together. The recollection of the meeting about the LT5 oil leaks and 'we use that as a chassis protection' is a classic. Enjoy!

Cool find. I've seen google books before, but usually not good books. I can't imagine reading HotB that way, but it's cool to know it is there.
