double ck your u joints could be a flat bearing in one of them.did one of the caps fall off during instalation. 2 you want to be very carefull getting on it with geasable u-joints they are alot weaker due to the zerk fitting . if it were me id chuck those and get the best ones i could find without zek fittings .

This might be a silly question.
Did you tighten the differantial C-beam long bolts and the transmission
C-beam bolts.

Just an update, this is what I sent Frank in a email.

Frank, the vibration could be caused by the ujoints not getting pressed in correctly and not allowing freedom of movement, and the driveline could have taken a whack and moved some metal and be causing a vibration. It is best to take it to a driveline shop and have them balance it. I have had a few drivelines that have been warped.

Also the gear set could be set up incorrectly. Lots of possible factors, and it sucks inspecting the rear end as everything must come out.

Hi Jeff

You have given to first, You have clinical eye. Today and wanted to take driveline shop to make balance, a U-joint put new of driveline, has taken game and is bad. Defective or bad installed or mounted?

Now I need ujoint new, I have requested them to rockauto, but now without being graseable.

One week ago when we turned it to 180º, not yet it had augurs and the Problem did not need.

Thanks for your aid and information.

It thought that it had found the problem in the U-Joint of drive shaft that according to indicated the mechanic to me had movement.

I bought another U-Joint without greasable, when we removed it and we changed, seemed to me that it did not have any problem.

I took to balance propeller shaft and turned out after to them to have indicated the model of the car could not by lack of supports.

I returned to mount without making the balance and with the new U-Joint and follow with he himself problem.

I explained the problem to the mechanic of my GMC 4X4 Jimmy.

It indicated to me to control halft shaft that the U-Joint greasable was to 180 Degrees.

Controlling I have seen that those of the right are to 180º of another one. but those of the single left are to 90º.

It could be the cause?

Some reference?
